The SCPA ATHENA LEGIS was founded by 4 Lawyers from the Mali Bar, each with more than twenty years of experience, then joined by a 5th Lawyer as an Associate, and who chose to pool their expertise for a new professional life in the direct extension of a path partly carried out together, thus allowing with confidence to aim for excellence and customer satisfaction, in a perfect team spirit. SCPA ATHENA LEGIS was therefore born from the desire of its partners to put their experiences at the service of the performance of companies and business people operating in Africa and specifically in the OHADA community space. The Firm is mainly oriented towards the support of business people, both in advice and litigation, mediation and arbitration, in all legal sectors of economic law. With the experience of its partners, SCPA ATHENA LEGIS has set up an important partnership network with recognized firms in Africa, Europe, Asia and even North America. This international opening, combined with the presence of one of the Associates at the Bar of Cameroon, broadened the Horizon of the Firm by allowing it to diversify its clientele and increase the ability to intervene on files with an approach that meets international standards. Moreover, to better serve its customers and diversify its expertise, the Firm has opened an Office in Douala (Cameroon) and a new Employee registered with the Bar of Mali has joined the Firm since 2020 to increase the number of Lawyers to 7, accompanied by several Consultants, Researchers and Lawyers both internally and externally.
